Our reduced-price short-hop tickets cover 9 zones across Nottingham's tram network. A short hop ticket will cover a single journey, but you must only travel one way within any one of our short hop zones.

Although the short hop tickets have a validity of 20 minutes, you are not permitted to make a return journey with a short hop ticket. It's valid for a single short journey only.

Tickets are available from the ticket machines, but please take care to ensure you have the right ticket for the journey you are making. If you're not sure, please refer to the short hop map, which is visible on any of our ticket vending machines. Travelling outside of the zone which is covered by your ticket may result in a penalty fare being issued.

The easiest way to pay for a short hop ticket is via contactless payments (Nottingham Contactless). If you're travelling within any one of our short hop zones, please tap your payment card or device on our lime green validators. You must tap before your journey starts and after your journey ends to ensure we charge the correct fare.
