How can I top up or extend my travel pass?

When you purchase a new season pass product via thetram.net website or you have paid for your tram pass extension over the phone, you will need to update your card in order to collect the product or extension before you continue using your card.

Below are a few options that will enable you to 'collect' the product or extension that you have purchased.

Via tram ticket vending machine

If you have purchased a season pass extension, you can collect this via our ticket machines by simply holding it against the Robin Hood card reader on our ticket machines. As you may notice, if you scan your card on the lime green readers, it may still show as expired until your extension has been 'collected'. Hold the card to the reader and then scan your card as usual on the lime green card readers and you will now see your extension has been applied.

Via the Robin Hood ticketing app (Smartphone with NFC enabled required)

An easy way to collect your product or extension would be to use the Robin Hood Ticketing app. Once you have the app open, simply click on 'Collect' and hold your card to the back of your mobile device (NFC must be enabled). The screen will show that you have successfully collected the product you have purchased.

For more information on the app and links to download for Android or Apple, please go to https://robinhoodnetwork.co.uk/card/robin-hood-ticketing-app/

Via the on-street Robin Hood Terminals

Using the Robin Hood terminals is a really easy way to update your card and collect any extensions. Simply place your card on the machine and your extension will be applied. The machines can be found throughout Nottingham and you can find out more information including the locations of the on-street terminals by visiting https://robinhoodnetwork.co.uk/
