Can I always get a seat?

Whilst our trams offer many seats for our customers, we often carry over 100 passengers, making it very difficult for everyone to get a seat.

Our trams often travel with a majority of customers standing, especially during peak times.

Whilst we also have many seats which are clearly labelled as a priority seat for those less mobile or disabled, there are often times where these seats are taken.

NET is part of a scheme which is designed to help those who may require a seat more than others. Often, disabilities are not visible and we are happy to be part of this scheme which aims at breaking down any barriers and supporting those that may need a seat more than others. It also offers the opportunity to wear a badge to suggest you are 'happy to move for you' if asked.

These badges are available for free, from the NET travel centre - 4 King Street, Nottingham NG1 2AS

If you would like some badges sent to you in the post, please reach out to our customer relations team. Please check our customer contact page here: Contact NET
