Yes. In fact, we encourage you to let us know you need more time to get on or off the tram.
If you are less mobile than others, or you are using a wheelchair or mobility scooter, you may require some more time to get on or off the trams.
We have customer help points located on every tram stop. Pressing the information button will connect you to staff located in our control room which is manned 24/7, 365 days a year.
We can see exactly where you are and we'll know which tram will be arriving next. Our control room staff can speak with the driver of the next tram and ask them to allow more time for you to get on. they can also let them know the stop where you are getting off and they can ensure you safely alight the tram before closing their doors.
