'Surname / Penalty Fare Reference Doesn't Match' error while trying to pay online

You may encounter an error on the website while trying to pay your penalty fare online. 


Please take the following steps which will allow you to access the payment portal.


If you have lost your PFN (Penalty Fare Notice) Number please contact the Customer Relations Team


1. Ensure that there is no space left after the Surname or PFN Number. If you are on a phone, ensure the cursor is next to the last character before closing the keyboard

2. Ensure your Surname matches exactly how it is written on the ticket. This may include a double-barreled surname 


These 2 steps should allow you into the payment portal. If these prove unsuccessful please contact the Customer Relations Team as soon as possible and we will advise you of further steps to take
