We'll soon be launching a new update to the NET GO! app which changes the way tickets are loaded onto your device.
We operate a strict buy before you board policy and all tickets from the NET GO! app must be purchased and loaded onto your device before boarding the tram.
New features include the following:
- Buy before you board agreement - This feature will pop up before you purchase any more tickets. It's an agreement between NET and our customers using the app, that tickets will be purchased prior to boarding the tram
- Ticket delay/unlock feature - We are adding a ticket unlock feature which is currently set at 30 seconds. Once you have completed your purchase, a timer will be displayed and your ticket will show after the 30 seconds timer has counted down
- The new update will also include performance improvements, security updates and bug fixes
Please remember to buy your ticket before stepping onto the tram. Your ticket must be loaded onto your phone and displayed in the 'my tickets' section of the app before you board the tram.
If you're making multiple journeys throughout the day, our day ticket offers the best value for money and can be purchased at any point before you set off. We recommend purchasing your day ticket before reaching the tram stop (or even from home) to avoid missing your tram. Day tickets last until the end of service.
If you're purchasing single tickets, these last for 90 minutes (for one single journey away from your starting point - No return) and will be active after 30 seconds once your payment is complete.
