All stops between Wilkinson Street and The Forest will remain closed during the above dates. 

Due to road diversions which will be in place during the work, our closed stops will not be serviced by trams or buses.

Shipstone Street - Customers will need to walk to the Wilkinson Street tram stop for trams towards Hucknall and Phoenix Park

Beaconsfield Street - Customers will need to walk to the Wilkinson Street tram stop for trams towards Hucknall and Phoenix Park

Radford Road - Customers may use the replacement bus service from the HG05 bus stop, opposite the tram stop on Radford Road. Alternatively, it's a 0.5-mile or 11-minute walk to The Forest for trams to the City, Clifton South and Toton Lane

Noel Street - Customers may use the replacement bus from The Forest tram stop. Alternatively, it's a 0.6-mile or 13-minute walk to Wilkinson Street for trams towards Hucknall and Phoenix Park

Hyson Green Market - Customers will need to walk to The Forest tram stop for trams towards the City, Clifton South and Toton Lane, which is a 0.2-mile or 5-minute walk

The bus route will operate in a loop between the bus stop on Wilkinson Street, opposite the tram stop, and the northbound tram platform at The Forest. 

Please allow extra time for your journey. We anticipate that journey times may increase by up to 30 minutes, depending on road traffic conditions.

The route is as follows:

• Wilkinson Street bus stop - stop BA85
• Western Boulevard, then onto Nuthall Road
• Bobber's Mill, then onto Gregory Boulevard
• Drop off and pick up at The Forest northbound/centre platform
• Join Noel Street, then onto Bentinck Road
• Radford Road, then return to the Wilkinson Street bus stop - stop BA85

Travelling towards the City, Toton Lane or Clifton South

During the work, the NET replacement bus will transport passengers from the Wilkinson Street bus stop, located opposite the tram stop, to The Forest tram stop, where trams will continue towards the City, Toton Lane, and Clifton South.

If you arrive at Wilkinson Street by tram,  head left towards the crossings and cross over Wilkinson Street for the Wilkinson Street bus stop.

If you arrive by car, use the steps in the car park towards the crossings

Travelling towards Hucknall and Phoenix Park

During the work, the platform where trams usually depart towards Hucknall and Phoenix Park will be closed. Trams towards Hucknall and Phoenix Park will depart from the opposite platform.

If you arrive by the NET replacement bus, head right towards the crossings and cross the tracks to the opposite platform. 

If you arrive by car or on foot, board the tram from the side nearest the car park.

Travelling towards the City, Toton Lane or Clifton South

During the work, the platform where trams usually depart towards Toton Lane and Clifton South will be closed. Trams towards Toton Lane and Clifton South will depart from the Centre platform.

If you have boarded the NET replacement bus from Wilkinson Street, it will arrive at the shared centre platform, where trams will depart towards the City, Toton Lane or Clifton South. 

If you have arrived at The Forest by car or on foot, cross over to the centre platform for trams towards the City, Toton Lane or Clifton South.

Travelling towards Hucknall or Phoenix Park

During the work, the NET replacement bus will arrive at the tram platform adjacent to Noel Street. 

If you have arrived by tram, please use the bus from the shared centre platform. If you've arrived by car or on foot, please cross over to board the bus from the centre platform.

Please note that our early morning positioning trams will already be in place throughout the work, and therefore our early morning services, which drop off and pick up passengers between 5 am and 6 am, will not be operating.

Wilkinson Street

During the work, Wilkinson Street will be partially closed, with one-way only traffic westbound from Radford Road towards Western Boulevard. 

Wilkinson Street will be closed to traffic from the ring road towards Radford Road, although access will remain for residents on Wilkinson Street, Whitemoor Street, Whitemoor Avenue and Heslington Avenue.

The works will cross parts of Armstrong Way, but access will remain for the Wilkinson Street Park and Ride and the Lewis Industrial Estate.

Noel Street

Road closures will be in place at the junction of Noel Street and Gregory Boulevard. Road closures will also affect the junction of Noel Street and Terrace Street.

During the work, Noel Street and Terrace Street, which are usually open to one-way traffic only, will be converted to two-way traffic to allow access for residents, businesses, and other road users. 

During the work, the Wilkinson Street bus stop for Medi-Link bus services to Nottingham City Hospital will be closed. An alternative bus stop on Western Boulevard will be available. Click here for directions.
